1. All class plans purchased are on an ongoing monthly subscription basis that will automatically renew each month for the selected plan from the card details provided at the purchase stage until such time that Mogera Tani Judo Club receive in writing from the plan holder (email is acceptable) to cancel the said plan(s). At least 48 hours notice is required in order to cancel a plan and avoid the next payment due being collected. Mogera Tani Judo Club will always work to best resolve any cancellation requests in good time.
2. All subscriptions plans run continuously on a monthly basis and fees are charged based on the following holiday periods included within the plan; Christmas Break: closed from 23rd December until 2nd January every year. Closed on Bank Holidays/Public Holidays. The availability to Mogera Tani Judo Club of a summer break of up to three weeks is also built into the plans however holiday cover will always be sought in order that no loss of lessons are incurred. Missed lessons due to the incapacity / illness of the instructor will not be refunded. Mogera Tani Judo Club will always seek to have a replacement instructor in order that no loss of lessons are incurred.
3. Cookies automatically operate on this website. We do not share any information that is collected with any third party except in the instance that the governing body (British Judo Association) legally requests such information in relation to legal case involving a student of Mogera Tani Judo Club.
4. All students personal details including DOB, addresses, emergency contacts and declared medical conditions that Mogera Tani Judo Club collect are kept secure and not shared externally save in the case of a legal requirement by law or in an emergency situation in order to safeguard a student.
5. All students agree (in the case of a child the authorised guardian who signed the membership application form) that by signing up, photos and/or video may be taken of the student to be used for marketing purposes for Mogera Tani Judo Club including social media, website, and brochures, unless notification is provided to the head coach, in writing to opt out.
6. Mogera Tani Judo Club, it's coaches, volunteers or officials cannot be held liable for any damage to or loss of property of students or third parties.
7. Whilst taking all necessary safety precautions Mogera Tani Judo Club, it's coaches, volunteers or officials cannot be held liable for any injury to or loss of life of students or third parties whilst undertaking classes or an event organised by Mogera Tani Judo Club.
8. Should access be denied to the training facilities through no fault of Mogera Tani Judo Club, the club will not be required to refund any part of the monthly subscription fee (up to a maximum of two months).
9. Every student without fail is required to purchase a British Judo Association membership licence before their third week of training in order that full insurance coverage is in place. No licence, no training.
10. Gradings will occur at least twice a year. A separate cost will be made for gradings and details will be sent to parents / students at the appropriate time allowing payment to be made to the club.
11. No student is to misuse the art of Judo outside of a dojo or competition area unless in a lawful self defence situation.
12. Students should always represent Mogera Tani Judo Club with honour and respect. Any student found to bring Mogera Tani Judo Club into disrepute will be asked to leave.
